What to Expect During and After A Skin Sheek Treatment
During the treatment, a small probe is gently applied to the surface of the skin, delivering a regulated high-frequency radio wave current directly to the targeted area. Each spot is treated in seconds, making the process efficient while minimizing impact to surrounding tissue.
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, mild sting that dissipates immediately once the probe is lifted, typically rating discomfort between a 1–3 on a 10-point scale. While downtime is minimal, the treated areas go through a natural healing process that is important to understand for best results. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect post-treatment.
-
Pigmented areas may appear darker or slightly dry as the treated tissue begins to dehydrate.
Capillaries will blanch immediately after treatment, appearing lighter in color.
Mild redness or sensitivity may be present but typically resolves quickly.
-
For capillaries, color may temporarily return as the dehydrated tissue continues to process.
Light scabbing or crusting may begin to form over treated areas.
This is a normal part of the healing response.
-
Small crusts or scabs begin to dry and naturally flake off.
The body continues absorbing treated tissue, and results become more noticeable.
Skin underneath may appear pink or fresh as it continues healing.
-
Most treated areas are fully healed.
Skin appears smoother and more refined as the healing process completes.
Any remaining redness continues to fade.
Up to 12 Days Post - Treatment (Pigmentation Treatments)
In some cases, flaking may continue slightly longer depending on the area treated and skin response.
Results continue to improve as the skin fully renews.
