Policies and Procedures

To ensure we can make the most of our time together, please take a moment to read through my policies and procedures before booking an appointment.

  • 48-hour notice required for all changes or cancellations.

    Due to high demand, clients who frequently miss appointments or request/expect policy exceptions will be referred to another professional whose availability better matches their scheduling needs. Appointments changed or canceled within this period will incur a 50% charge of the booked service total. This policy helps me maintain high standards and availability for all clients. By booking with Preparations Skin Spa, you agree to this policy and will be asked to provide a credit card at booking to secure your appointment which will be charged if I need to implement my cancellation policy.

  • At Preparations Skin Spa, we pride ourselves on our punctuality and commitment to each client's scheduled time. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we cannot extend appointment times for late arrivals, and the full service fee will still apply. With several appointments scheduled daily and back-to-back, punctuality is expected to serve all clients fairly. Late arrivals (15+ minutes) will be rescheduled and marked as no-shows to honor other clients' reserved times. Full service fees apply regardless of service completion.

  • Illness and emergencies, while unfortunate, do not waive appointment fees or policies. Due to demand, I apply all policies consistently to ensure fairness. I apologize in advance and encourage planning ahead when possible.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable when the appointment is canceled/rescheduled with the required full 48 hours notice. By booking your service, you agree with our no-refund policy.

  • Due to the nature of our products, I am unable to return products. All sales are final.

  • To maintain a safe environment and provide the highest quality care, no guests, including children, are permitted during appointments unless cleared ahead of time.. Clients who arrive with guests or children will be asked to reschedule while remaining financially responsible for the appointment cost.
